Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know which level is right for me?
Take our free online level test — it takes around 20 minutes and covers grammar and vocabulary from A1 to C2. After the test you will have a short speaking assessment with one of our teachers who will confirm your level and recommend the right course.
What is the CEFR?
The CEFR — Common European Framework of Reference — is the international standard for describing language ability. It runs from A1 (complete beginner) to C2 (proficient). All our courses are aligned to the CEFR so you always know exactly where you are and where you are going.
How does feedback work in lessons?
Your teacher gives you personalised feedback throughout every lesson. After each lesson you will receive a summary of what you covered and what to focus on next. Your progress is reviewed regularly so your course always moves at the right pace for you.
Can I switch between 1-to-1 and group lessons?
Yes — you can discuss this with your teacher at any time. Some students prefer to start in a group and move to 1-to-1 lessons as they progress. We will always find the right option for your needs and your schedule.
How quickly will I see progress?
Most students notice real improvement within 8 to 10 lessons. Progress depends on your starting level, your goals and how consistently you attend. Your teacher will keep you motivated and on track throughout your course.
